2010 Lost Dutchman Invitational |
|
Description
ONLINE ENTRY COMITTMENT DUE BY THURSDAY FEBRUARY 4TH.
Please read this carefully... the
Dutchman entry procedures are rather complicated.
Hard Cut Swimmers. These swimmers have beat at least
one of the qualifying times listed on the meet information.
They are allowed to swim their hard cut qualified swims, plus 3
bonus events subject to 3 events per day and 9 events for the whole
meet maximums.
Filler Swimmers. These are swimmers who wish to race in
Dutchman, but lack Hard Cut qualifying times. They
may choose to commit and select events subject to the
3 per day/ 9 per meet maximums. Each race can accept a
certain number of swimmers. After the Hard Cuts and Bonus
entries are seeded, if there are remaining spots they will be
filled by the Filler (or non-qualified) entries starting with
fastest swims first. Bear in mind, "Bonus" entries that
are slower then your child's "Filler" entry will take precedent
because the swimmer with the "Bonus" already has at least one hard
cut. Racing in Phil Levine will help in this aspect if
your child improves their time, even if they do not make a Hard Cut
for the meet.
On Tuesday or Wednesday before the start of Dutchman we will
know which of the Filler entries made it in. You will NOT be
charged entry fees if your child's Filler entry does not make it
into the meet.
