With mild temperatures and
breezy days, last weeknd's Southwest Invitational provided an
opportunity for DTAC swimmers to give strong performances, and to
observe some of the finest swimmers in the state, and also from
foreign countries.
Standing out amongst the DTAC
swimmers, Abhishek Rajadas showed up in good form and went to task
as he set five new team records throughout the weekend, crushing
some of his own and adding his name to new events. Overall Abhishek
went on to place 2nd high point in the 13 and over division, 2nd to
a 17 year old competitor.
Strong performances also came from Ellinore Duncan, going under
the state Q in three events, Drew Barlow with several best times to
add to two strong weekends, and Archie Spindler.
